All looking set to be a decent game, especially if the players go out and ignore their coaches. Wales have dropped Phillips, which makes sense on some levels but a lot of their defence works because of the size of Phillips, it's a big call to drop him going up against Picamoles even if Webb isn't tiny for a 9

Need a welsh win here really, if it only serves to heighten their expectations only to be crushed coming back to HQ.

I can see the welsh squeaking it. This french side has got away on luck, some decent players in certain areas, others not so much, but they aren't a team, and their coach is feckless.

Wales to win 19-15 ish.....

North vs Fofana will be a sight. More likely North will run at Bastauraud which will turn into a right of passage for the welshman to be honest....

Shocking from France, even by the standards of French away performances that was bad

It kind of showed france for what they have been so far. Lucky. Italy at home for most is a given, and the luck against England was hilarious.

Wales were decent tonight, not great, but defence alone was enough to stifle a very poor french outfit indeed.

They didn't create much Vs England, but they attacked down in our 22 (where lucky can work quite well for you) and they kicked on the outside on a very narrow England defence. Okay the bounce went for them, as it did for us last season, but I prefer to think of that as making your own luck.

They haven't though had any structure in attack in 3 games now, it's just waiting for one of their runners to make a break. Doussain was awful today, but why he was hung out being picked at 9 after playing well at 10 is just part of the enduring mystery of French rugby
