The amount being demanded of the Italian clubs to play in their own league has been reduced down to a third of what they pay to date. So progress, but it's still a disgrace. Haven't yet heard if like the Scots and Irish they'll get to leech Welsh TV money.

The amount to play in celtic league was of 3 millions every season. Now, standing on what FIR said is only suspended for a couple of years and reduced to 1 million. Actually there is the possibility that this bill will be paid by IRB directly.

Talking about celtic league. Benetton Treviso leaves and return in our domestic. At the same time some teams of Veneto region (one of which is Treviso too) starts to organize a franchise: Dogi (chiefs of ancient Repubblic of Venice and famous italian invitations team of 70's).

Most of Treviso player's will leave, destination Premiership (De Marchi, Loamanu, Ghiraldini, Barbieri, Campagnaro) so the new franchise will suffer a lot the first two years, but there is the possibility to put some young guns out from our domestic to an internation level of playing rugby
